Once again this year, the Großziethen Equestrian Centre (south of Berlin) held its annual Christmas party, which, having been held for 10 years now, can almost be described as a tradition.
As in 2009, a fundraising campaign for Tulisa was launched as part of the Christmas party. A colourful programme of events, including horse displays, a choir, a nativity play, vaulting, a fire show and much more, was once again on offer this year and was met with great enthusiasm by the audience.
And, of course, one thing couldn’t be missing: to round things off, Father Christmas stopped by with his real reindeer. Young and old alike were delighted, and we were also delighted with the response to our appeal for donations. All the proceeds from the mulled wine and cake stall, as well as a specially provided donation box which was well filled, will go to the Tulisa Foundation. By the end of the evening, we’d raised €1,626.69 – a remarkable sum for a small riding centre like ours!!! We’re very proud of this and are handing over the money to the Tulisa Foundation with a clear conscience!!
