{"id":1388,"date":"2013-05-03T14:30:33","date_gmt":"2013-05-03T12:30:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tulisa-dev.bitfriends.de\/?p=1388"},"modified":"2013-07-18T18:11:14","modified_gmt":"2013-07-18T16:11:14","slug":"dotty-has-passed-her-diploma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tulisa.org\/en\/news-en\/dotty-has-passed-her-diploma","title":{"rendered":"Dotty has passed her diploma"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dotty, our nurse and staff in Nairobi, has successfully completed the TULISA financed graduate course in social-medical counseling.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/dotty_dipl_2.jpg\" alt=\"dotty_dipl_2\" width=\"159\" height=\"213\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1383\" \/><br \/>\nAfter this training course, she can work more efficiently and more successfully in health education, particularly on HIV \/ AIDS, within the Kibera slum in Nairobi.<\/p>\n<p>Important focus here is to identify the vulnerable population, in particular affected mothers and adolescents, concerning path of infection, duration of infectiousness, diagnosis + therapy and of course, effective protection and prevention measures against infection. Non-infected persons need to know the risks of infection in order to avoid or protect themselves accordingly. HIV-infected persons should be informed of how to behave in order to avoid passing the infection and to implement this knowledge in a customized approach (cf. www.rki.de).<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/dotty_dipl_1-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"dotty_dipl_1\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-1382\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tulisa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/dotty_dipl_1-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.tulisa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/dotty_dipl_1-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tulisa.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/dotty_dipl_1.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><br \/>\nTULISA hopes that this approach contributes to health-improvement and reduction of infection rate in the poverty stricken people of Kibera.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TULISA and Dotty thank all donors who have made this sustainable development possible!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dotty, our nurse and staff in Nairobi, has successfully completed the TULISA financed graduate course in social-medical counseling.
